Ms. Collins is a Licensed Certified Clinical Social Worker (Maryland), Board Approved Social Work Supervisor, and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (Washington, D.C.). Over the course of 10+ years, she has completed a number of trainings that serve to enhance her professional and clinical expertise, including courses on screening and assessment tools, evidence based practice models, training clinical supervisors, and substance use and co-occurring disorders, just to name a few. Ms. Collins is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, a certification obtained from the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
With over ten years of experience, first as a practical provider of services, then to a mid-level administrator, Ms. Collins has consistently demonstrated her mastery in multiple areas in the social work field. After graduating in 2004 with her Master of Social Work degree (Mental Health Concentration), she went on to work in increasingly complex and specialized roles. Her professional experience includes assessing and providing therapeutic and family preservation services, developing and implementing training regiments for internal as well as external employees, implementing evidence based practice models, conducting quality assurance analyses, and coordinating services for a number of network providers within the treatment and recovery community. She possesses a strong knowledge base along with relevant experience and skillsets that encompasses project development, management, and capacity building.
